Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup white wine
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup frozen corn
Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, onion, carrots, and celery and cook until the vegetables are softened and beginning to brown, about 5 minutes. 2. Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, white wine, frozen peas, and frozen corn. Stir to combine. 5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours. 6.
