Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 pound sausage

1 onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 bell pepper, diced

1 jalapeno, diced

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

1 (14.5 oz) can tomato sauce

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup corn kernels

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and sausage over medium heat until cooked through and browned. Drain off any excess fat.

2. Place the cooked meat in a slow cooker. Add the diced onion, garlic, bell pepper, jalapeno, chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

3. Add the black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and corn kernels. Stir to combine.

4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.

5. Serve with desired toppings.
