Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
1. Place the chicken, chicken broth, wild rice, carrots, onion, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper into a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and the wild rice is tender.
