Ingredients

2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into cubes

2 onions, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 potatoes, peeled and cubed

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1/2 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

1. Place the beef, onions, garlic, potatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and cayenne pepper (if using) in the slow cooker. Stir to combine.

2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef and potatoes are tender.

3. Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad.
