Ingredients
1 pound of ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can of corn, drained
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce
2 tablespoons of chili powder
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper and cook until the vegetables are tender.
2. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker. Add the black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
3. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the chili is hot and bubbly.
