Ingredients

2.5-3 pounds boneless pork shoulder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

1. Start by seasoning the pork shoulder with the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, smoked paprika, and salt. Rub the seasoning all over the pork. Place the pork in the slow cooker.


2. In a small bowl, mix together the chipotle peppers, water, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Pour the mixture over the pork in the slow cooker.


3. Turn the slow cooker to low and cover with the lid. Cook for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and shreds easily with a fork.


4. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred using two forks. Place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.


5. Serve the chipotle pulled pork in tacos, burritos, or over a bed of rice. Enjoy!

Notes
