Ingredients
2 lbs. sirloin steak, cubed
1 yellow onion, diced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (14.5 oz) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14.5 oz) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14.5 oz) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup beef broth
Instructions
1. Place the beef and onions in the slow cooker. Add the diced tomatoes, beans, garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the beef broth over the top. Stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours. The beef should be tender and the beans should be cooked through.
3. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. Serve over cooked rice or with a side of your favorite vegetables.
