Ingredients

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 can of diced tomatoes

1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.

2. Add the beef to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides.

3. In a small bowl, mix the cumin, oregano, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together.

4. Once the beef is browned, add the spice mixture to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the spices are fragrant.

5. Transfer the beef and spices to your slow cooker.
