Ingredients

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup cola

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Place the chicken in the slow cooker. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cola, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker and stir to combine.



2. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.



3. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, if desired.



4. Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes.
